Welcome to the Kirchner Electric website. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kirchner Electric website and your interactions with Kirchner Electric, including requests for electrical services, communications, and text messaging.

By using this website, submitting a service request, contacting Kirchner Electric, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or submit information through it.

1. About Kirchner Electric

Kirchner Electric is a State Certified Electrical Contractor serving residential and commercial customers. Our services may include electrical installation, repair, maintenance, renovation, demolition, generator services, lighting, wiring, and other electrical services as described on our website.

Information provided on this website is intended for general informational purposes and does not constitute a binding quote, contract, guarantee, or promise to perform any particular service.

2. Use of This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the website, server, or related systems.
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify website content without permission.
  • Use automated systems or other methods to collect information from the website without authorization.

Kirchner Electric reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the website if we believe these Terms have been violated.

3. Service Requests and Appointments

Submitting a request through this website, by telephone, text message, email, or another communication method does not guarantee that Kirchner Electric will accept or schedule the requested work.

A service request may be subject to:

  • Availability of personnel and equipment.
  • Service area limitations.
  • Site conditions.
  • Scope of work.
  • Required permits or inspections.
  • Material availability.
  • Customer approval.
  • Other factors that may affect our ability to perform the requested work.

An appointment is not considered confirmed until Kirchner Electric has communicated confirmation to the customer.

Appointment times and arrival windows are estimates and may change due to weather, traffic, emergency calls, the complexity of prior jobs, material availability, or other circumstances.

4. Estimates, Quotes, and Scope of Work

When appropriate, Kirchner Electric may provide an estimate or quote before work begins.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, an estimate is based on the information and conditions reasonably known at the time it is prepared. Actual conditions discovered after work begins may require changes to the scope of work and associated charges.

Additional work that is outside the originally approved scope may require additional authorization and charges.

A quote or estimate does not guarantee that concealed conditions, code requirements, damaged components, or other unforeseen circumstances will not affect the final cost.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the property, requested services, and any known conditions that may affect the work.

Customers must provide reasonable access to the property, electrical equipment, work areas, and other areas necessary to perform the requested services.

Customers are also responsible for:

  • Providing a safe and reasonably accessible work environment.
  • Informing Kirchner Electric of known hazards or unusual site conditions.
  • Securing pets and animals when necessary.
  • Obtaining any customer-specific permissions or approvals required for work on the property.
  • Providing accurate contact and property information.

Kirchner Electric may decline or postpone work if conditions are unsafe or if reasonable access to the work area cannot be provided.

6. Electrical Work and Code Requirements

Electrical work may be subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, electrical codes, permitting requirements, inspections, and utility requirements.

Kirchner Electric will perform work within the scope authorized by the customer and as required by applicable laws and codes.

Existing electrical systems may contain conditions, materials, wiring, equipment, or installations that do not meet current requirements. Bringing an existing system or portion of a system into compliance may require additional work and expense.

7. Pricing, Invoices, and Payment

Customers are responsible for paying all charges associated with services that they authorize or receive from Kirchner Electric.

Prices may vary depending on the type and scope of work, labor, materials, equipment, permits, travel, site conditions, and other applicable costs.

Invoices and payment terms will be provided to the customer as applicable to the particular service or project.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due according to the terms stated on the applicable invoice, quote, proposal, or service agreement.

Kirchner Electric reserves the right to pursue unpaid balances and any remedies available under applicable law.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers should contact Kirchner Electric as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Kirchner Electric may charge cancellation, trip, diagnostic, or other applicable fees when disclosed to the customer or permitted under the applicable service agreement.

Kirchner Electric may also reschedule an appointment when circumstances outside our reasonable control affect our ability to perform the work.

9. Emergency Services

Electrical emergencies may require immediate attention. However, submitting an emergency service request through this website or contacting Kirchner Electric does not guarantee immediate response or availability.

If you are experiencing an immediate threat to life or safety, including fire, smoke, electrocution, or another dangerous emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service first.

Customers should not attempt electrical repairs that could create a safety hazard.

A breaker that keeps tripping, an outlet that stopped working, lights that flicker every time the AC kicks on. Small electrical problems have a way of turning into bigger ones, and in a lot of Cypress homes and buildings the wiring behind the wall is older than the people living with it. When something is not working the way it should, you want it looked at by someone who will find the real cause instead of guessing.

That is the part of the job Kirchner Electric takes seriously. We are a family-owned electrical contractor based on Grant Road in Cypress, and we handle residential and commercial electrical repairs for homeowners, property managers, and businesses across the Northwest Houston area. Our electricians track a problem back to its source, fix it to code, and leave you with power you do not have to think about again. No shortcuts, no patch jobs that fail again in six months.
