Our Story

Kirchner Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor based on Grant Road in Cypress. Dennis Kirchner built the company in the 1980s, and his son Blake took over in 2020. What started as a local operation serving neighbors around Cypress has grown into a team that homeowners, builders, and business owners across the northwest Houston area call when they need electrical work done right.

Blake leads the company today, carrying forward the standards Dennis set decades ago. The tools and the code have changed since the 1980s, and we have changed with them, but the way we treat customers has stayed the same. A lot of our work now comes from repeat customers and the neighbors they send our way, which is how a family business grows.

Every project starts with an on-site visit. A photo and a phone call only tell part of the story, so we send an electrician to look at the work in person before we quote it. You get a written quote, and we schedule the job at a time that fits your calendar.
